You Know What Time It Is.....

It's that time of year again......the time where we hang up our uniforms and throw our jordans to the back of our closets. Basketball season is over yet again. My senior season went out with a bang.....WE CAME IN 3rd Place in State!!! I am so proud of our team. Of course, we were aiming for that golden #1, but we tried our hardest and came in third. I am proud of us anyway because we gave all we had. The two teams above us in state were the only two teams that could truly beat us.

My last game I scored 14 points and was the leading scorer. How awesome is that? I am proud to say I ended my high school career as the leading scorer of the game. That is an amazing feat that many years from now I will happily share with my children, grandchildren, and hopefully great-grandchildren.

This year has definitely flown by. I have not blogged as much as I thought I would have which I must apologize for. Senior year is an extremely busy year. From yearbook to sports to Pre-Cal and Chemistry to college apps to scholarship apps, the stress is definitely piled on. ( I think adults are trying to prepare us for that thing called the stresses of college.) I would have liked to blog a play by play of my year, but sadly, I was not given the time I needed to accomplish this goal.

I am excited for college, even though I haven't officially declared which school I am attending. I am excited for the new changes that will be made in my life in less than half of a year. I look around and everyone is talking about college and the changes that they are going to be making. The only thing I must say I will miss are my family and friends. I have known both for the majority of my life, and leaving them will be hard. But I know it is something that I must do. Gearing up for the next level in my life is an exciting new adventure that I am prepared (I hope) to take.

I do indeed hope to blog in college. Maybe, I will find the time to start blogging more...or maybe I can start vlogging on youtube. :) The fun of college from my perspective!! Exciting, I know! ;)

We took cap and gown pictures yesterday, and I am excited to officially wear my cap and gown. All 9 of us had to share a cap and gown because Josten's hasn't gotten our personal ones in yet. My friends were talking about how they wanted to wear theirs until we graduated. I don't think so; I refuse to look like the runaway graduate (hints: The Runaway Bride). I will actually think about hanging my tassel up in my car though. That might actually be a good idea.

On to more exciting things, my book reading. I only have two more Nicholas Sparks' books to read: The Rescue and At First Sight. I am currently reading Safe Haven. This book is pretty good, but I haven't gotten to the really good parts yet. I would like to say that I have read the majority of the books on my list from one of my first blogs, but I haven't checked off the books I have read yet. I do think I have read the majority of books on the list though.

My tv viewing has increased since the finale of basketball season. I watch college hoops, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, and Greek. Sadly, this is the last season of Greek. Greek will forever remain in my good memories for many, many reasons! I am very excited for the Secret Life to come back on. It has been an exciting show recently, but not as exciting as PLL. That show always keeps me on the edge of my seat! I really want to know who killed Alyson.

Well, I am start to get cramps in my rear end so I am going to go to bed now.
Hope I blog again soon.........ADIOS!!!!
