Wow, it's almost time for me to go to college; I truly cannot believe it!!
That's all I wanted to say. Well, I was in a blogging mood when I started writing the title, but now not so much.
I'll try to blog in college, but who knows?

Can You Say Bad, Bad Blogger??
Oh my goodness, do you know how long it has been since my last blog? Too long!!! It is a shame. Well, at least I am not going to be a bonafide journalist now, unless you count Seventeen Freshman Fifteen. Yes, I want to be one of the freshman 15!! I'm very excited about this because I made it to the second round!!
I'm also an official high school graduate!! YAY!!! I'm so happy. I'm also a college student!! EAGLE PRIDE AMPLIFIED!!
Well, people, this was just a lame, boring, short update!! Hope you enjoyed!! :)

Greek
I am writing this blog post for two reasons. The reasons are 1) I am bored, sleepy, and need to be reading my book and 2) I really miss Greek. I am very upset that Greek went off television. Insert of a Greek pic here.
Maybe that was a fail.....
Anyway, Greek has been a major part of my life for the past three years. It is very upsetting to see the show in its final season. Greek has helped me ready myself for college. Even though this show is fictitious, I think that somehow in some way college will be similar to Greek. This show heightened my wanting to pledge in a sorority. Seeing the way that the ZBZ girls bonded interested me in experiencing the same bond.
I think that it is ironic that the show went off my senior year of high school. I think the irony behind the situation is that I now get to go to college and experience my own Greek life. I won't be able to compare my experience with that of Casey's and Ashleigh's.
I have a really funny story about Greek. My best friend said she was Casey, and I said I was Ashleigh. We then proceeded to name all the other characters with people we know. It is a hilarious thing, especially when I think about how the show played out.
Well, I wish I could blog more about the end of my favorite tv show, but I cannot. The time has sprung forward, and I have horrible sleeping habits already. Now, I am going to read Safe Haven so I can wake up early for church and watch the Duke vs. Carolina ACC championship game. Go Heels!! :)

You Know What Time It Is.....
It's that time of year again......the time where we hang up our uniforms and throw our jordans to the back of our closets. Basketball season is over yet again. My senior season went out with a bang.....WE CAME IN 3rd Place in State!!! I am so proud of our team. Of course, we were aiming for that golden #1, but we tried our hardest and came in third. I am proud of us anyway because we gave all we had. The two teams above us in state were the only two teams that could truly beat us.
My last game I scored 14 points and was the leading scorer. How awesome is that? I am proud to say I ended my high school career as the leading scorer of the game. That is an amazing feat that many years from now I will happily share with my children, grandchildren, and hopefully great-grandchildren.
This year has definitely flown by. I have not blogged as much as I thought I would have which I must apologize for. Senior year is an extremely busy year. From yearbook to sports to Pre-Cal and Chemistry to college apps to scholarship apps, the stress is definitely piled on. ( I think adults are trying to prepare us for that thing called the stresses of college.) I would have liked to blog a play by play of my year, but sadly, I was not given the time I needed to accomplish this goal.
I am excited for college, even though I haven't officially declared which school I am attending. I am excited for the new changes that will be made in my life in less than half of a year. I look around and everyone is talking about college and the changes that they are going to be making. The only thing I must say I will miss are my family and friends. I have known both for the majority of my life, and leaving them will be hard. But I know it is something that I must do. Gearing up for the next level in my life is an exciting new adventure that I am prepared (I hope) to take.
I do indeed hope to blog in college. Maybe, I will find the time to start blogging more...or maybe I can start vlogging on youtube. :) The fun of college from my perspective!! Exciting, I know! ;)
We took cap and gown pictures yesterday, and I am excited to officially wear my cap and gown. All 9 of us had to share a cap and gown because Josten's hasn't gotten our personal ones in yet. My friends were talking about how they wanted to wear theirs until we graduated. I don't think so; I refuse to look like the runaway graduate (hints: The Runaway Bride). I will actually think about hanging my tassel up in my car though. That might actually be a good idea.
On to more exciting things, my book reading. I only have two more Nicholas Sparks' books to read: The Rescue and At First Sight. I am currently reading Safe Haven. This book is pretty good, but I haven't gotten to the really good parts yet. I would like to say that I have read the majority of the books on my list from one of my first blogs, but I haven't checked off the books I have read yet. I do think I have read the majority of books on the list though.
My tv viewing has increased since the finale of basketball season. I watch college hoops, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, and Greek. Sadly, this is the last season of Greek. Greek will forever remain in my good memories for many, many reasons! I am very excited for the Secret Life to come back on. It has been an exciting show recently, but not as exciting as PLL. That show always keeps me on the edge of my seat! I really want to know who killed Alyson.
Well, I am start to get cramps in my rear end so I am going to go to bed now.
Hope I blog again soon.........ADIOS!!!!

Where have I been??
Wow, it has been officially to months since my last blog post. Can you say slacker?? I have aged a whole year. :) I am now the big 1-8. I am legal! I can do everything but drink. lol. I enjoyed my birthday which was yesterday. I had an absolute blast.
On Tuesday, I went to a Carolina Tarheel basketball game, and guess what, Carolina won!! It's a first! Usually when I go see teams play in person, they lose. I think I brought some much needed luck to the Heels!!
Yesterday, I went to see The Tourist starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. This movie was really intriguing. I was pretty much confused the entire time. It was almost like Salt starring Angelina Jolie. The movies she has been in lately have been really good.
Last night, I saw this movie called The Skeleton Key starring Kate Hudson. This movie was kind of scary. It was like an O. Henry story; it had a really weird ending that I wasn't expecting. I will not spoil any of the mentioned movies for anyone because I can't stand when someone ruins a movie for me.
I have to read 6 more books to say I have read all of Nicholas Sparks' books. Right now, I am reading The Guardian which was ruined for me, but I am reading it anyway. :) It is okay. At this moment, it is hard for me to say if it is good or not because I am only on page 208.
I have read so many books in the last two months that I couldn't name or remember the name of all. I downloaded WeREad on my facebook just so I could keep track of all the books I have read.
I am thinking about becoming an English or Communications professor. Don't get me wrong, but I still want to become a journalist. But you always have to have a plan to fall back on, therefore, I will be going to college multiple times to prepare for my backup plan. I know how hard it is to get into the business of journalism. It takes hard work and determination. A pursuant of a career in journalism must be tenacious. All of these things I am, but there is someone out there that wants it just as bad as I do. When thinking about a career, one must plan for these things. Oh, and children.
My dad said that I need to start having kids around the age of 25. That is only 7 years from now!!! OMGOODNESS!! LOL
Well, that's all for now!! PEACE!

Fall Fashions
I have really been liking the cardigan, tee, and skinny jean look. I will definitely be wearing this outfit with a cute pair of slouchy boots or ankle booties.

Another look I have been liking, that I definitely will wear is the long-sleeve shirt or sweater with a scarf and skinny jeans. To top it all off with ugg boots.
or real UGGS!! :)
Well that's all for now....sorry for the underlining at the end!

Long Time...No Blog?
Wow, has it been a long time since my last blog?? I think so! Well to start out, being a senior is pretty stressful. I have a lot to do from college apps to homework to sports to financial aid and scholarships. Do you understand what I'm saying. So much to do so little time. But I do understand this is preparing for the "most important" part of my life....my future.
Recently, I took a trip to my local library and checked out 3 books: The Devil Wears Prada, My Sister's Keeper, and The Great Gatsby. I have already started The Devil Wears Prada, and it is nothing like the movie. The book just serves as a basis of inspiration for the movie. I think I might like to movie better. I haven't yet started on the other two books, but I have to start soon since they are due back at the library next Saturday. (I have already extended them once!) I only have a few pages left in The Devil Wears Prada, and the next book I will be starting is My Sister's Keeper. I only picked up The Great Gatsby because I was doing a report on F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Because college application due dates are rolling around, I think I have my choices narrowed down. I think the whole world knows that Carolina is the school for me! :) At least I know, that's all that counts until I submit my application.
I'm wondering has anyone else been to Citi Trends? It's a nice store for Spirit Week at school, but other than that I do not think I would wear any of their clothes. Their clothes do not fit my style. My mom did buy many of their books though. She could not make up her mind which books she wanted to buy. She justified this by saying, "This book is only $1.99!" Wow, mom. :)
Well, I think I have blogged enough for now. I will definitely have to keep this blog up!! I want to be a legit journalist one day, and as my dad says, I need to be practicing!
Peace!! Oh, I'm sorry...deuces!
